Pilosio has obtained the Certification of Environmental Management Systems according to UNI EN ISO14001: 2004

It has been the result of the strategy set out in its company policy, aimed at continuous improvement of its Integrated Management System of Quality, Welding, Environment, Safety and Health at Work.

The Certification of Environmental Management Systems according to UNI EN ISO14001: 2004 is aimed to ensure the ability of an organization to manage its processes in environmental protection, not only by respecting the laws in force, but adopting a true environmental policy, setting environmental quality objectives, preparing and implementing the necessary elements (processes and resources) to implement this policy and achieving the interrelated goals, and committing to continual improvement of its environmental performance.

The Certification of Environmental Management Systems is located, at least conceptually, on a higher level than that of the Certification of Quality Management System according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, since it covers a strong ethical and social significance, as well as economic.

It should also be noted that the implementation of an effective environmental management system, attested by a good certification forces the organization to adopt during its production processes, the best technologies and practices, with a natural drive towards innovation and a very positive impact in terms of quality "economic" of its products and services (optimization of cost / benefit).
For that reason, often when choosing a supplier by a company, or the choice of a product by the consumer, the certification of environmental management system is considered a most valuable element than the simple possession of certification system for quality management.
The value and credibility of environmental certifications must therefore be guaranteed at the highest levels.
